Cambodia is the only country in the world which has a monument represented or printed on its flag. The monument none other than the world-famous Angkor Archaeological site and temple.

Proud of its rich heritage, Cambodia knows what they prize the most on their land.

A well-known heritage site, Cambodia has the largest temple in the world, Angkor Wat.

Cambodia remained undeveloped until a man from Indian descent reached there in the 6th-century A.D.Since then Indian culture started flourishing on Cambodian land.

Many kings tried to establish their kingdoms there. They engraved their names on the pages of history by creating some of the most miraculous structures known to man. Angkor Wat is one of them. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO. Earlier it was a Vishnu Temple, the biggest one dedicated to the God but later it went on to getting converted into a Buddhist Temple. It was constructed first in the 12th century and transformed later in the 13th century. Apart from Angkor Wat, Cambodia displays numerous ruins of the ancient Khmer Empire.

Thailand, a neighboring country today is well known for its scenic destinations and nightlife. However, this land happened to be a part of Cambodian kingdoms once. This land was known as Sayam. In the 14th century, Kings of Sayam ruled this land and left a legacy for us in the form of Ayutthaya Temples. Today Ayutthaya Temples are also a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO.

Wat Pho is another temple which is dedicated to Buddha and has been constructed in the 17th century and stands to be the oldest temple of Bangkok.
