An eminent Indologist, Girinath worked in an imaginative field of Animation for 12 years. However, much of his interest and passion remained with travelling. Travelling as a means to exploration his curiosity seeps into eating newer dishes and reading to the extent of his inquiry. After travelling extensively for 10 years in the search of history and culture and studying the Indian culture alongside, he found and explored a number of off-beat heritage destinations. With Ancient Trails he dreams of bringing the lost heritage, art and culture of India to the centre stage. Reinstating the glory of the past to its rightful place. His dream always leads him on the quest of identifying and exploring heritage destinations lost in the shadow of well-known sites. As a well-read and informed traveller with a keen sense of attuning to his environment, Girinath seamlessly connects with the natives of a place and absorbs all of the intricacies of their culture. Girinath loves to lend an ear to anyone who has a fascinating tale to tell. After all, travelling itself is an unfolding of a unique tale every time, which makes him your ideal travel companion.

Girija is a Mathematics teacher by profession but equally hardcore traveller. She believes that history is not just a part of our school syllabus but it’s the record of our insightful human journey. An understanding of it can help us uncover the solutions to many of our current world problems. A passionate cook and a teacher, who finds her attention often caught by the fading of our rich legacy. Girija is quite concerned about safeguarding our great heritage. She has keen interest in knowing about the smallest details of not only past but also the stories within. Having an experience of 15 years in mathematics teaching, Girija is a good organizer and possess great communication skills. She loves to take care of people and that shows in her own unique style. Having an Engineering background Kavita loves to explore new things right from new dishes to new places. She thinks that travels, vacations are not only for rest or even the leisure we chase but are the means to renew our capacity to wonder, to shock ourselves into astonishments once again. Kavita possesses good communication and analytical skills. Apart from that, she loves to indulge herself in the ocean of a variety of music. A hardcore trekker defined by his fearless personality. Anand since his school days had a close proximity with nature. Eventually his love for wildlife and nature pushed him in the direction of its conservation. Amid this last few years he has been actively volunteering in and organizing various conservation efforts. An enthusiastic traveler, a photographer and a zesty fun loving character in Ancient Trails. The craziest of your bucket list wishes will get a permanent mate in his form. Currently, Anand works in the IT in Pune, India.

Gauri is a passionate wanderer with a creative mind. She is an avid visual communicator who handles graphics design, contributing company’s essence to enrich the travel experience of our guests. She strongly believes that creativity is the essence of any kind of work. Without creative mindsets, work will not have a human touch. Out of this thought, Gauri comes up with bright and innovative ideas that help Ancient Trails maintain its uniqueness in every tour.
