Cambodia is the only country in the world which has a monument represented or printed on its flag. The monument none other than the world-famous Angkor Archaeological site and temple.

Cambodia remained undevelopeduntil a man from Indian descent reached there in the 6th-century A.D.Since then Indian culture started flourishingon Cambodian lands.
Many kings tried to establish their kingdoms there. They engraved their names on the pages of history by creating some of the most miraculous structures known to man. Angkor Wat is one of them. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO.Earlier it was a Vishnu Temple, the biggest one dedicated to the God but later it went on to getting converted into a Buddhist Temple.It was constructed first in the 12th century and transformed later in the 13th century. Apart from Angkor Wat, Cambodia displays numerous ruins of the ancient Khmer Empire.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Begin the journey to the Khmer Empire right from Mumbai. Leave for Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai in the evening. Board the midnight flight to Siem Reap.

ArriveSiem Reap in the morning. Check into the hotel, fresh & up and fill your tummies with good breakfast.Leave for sightseeing. Visitthe Angkor NationalMuseum. Post museum visit, let’s have a flavor of the local culture at floating Village.

VISA PROCEDURE

  • Visa for Cambodia will be acquired by Ancient Trails representative at Siem Reap airport with Visa-on-Arrival facility.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • An original passport with validity of minimum six months from the date of arrival in the country and have sufficient blank pages for stamping the Visa or immigration pass.

FEW POINTERS

  • If any sightseeing mentioned is not done due to any unforeseen circumstances then an alternate sightseeing will be done.
  • A traveller may please note that for domestic and international flights, the baggage allowance will be as per respective airline’s baggage policy and weight regulations. Travelers are requested to carry their luggage in accordance with the regulated baggage allowance. Excess baggage will be chargeable and the same is not included in the tour cost. It has to be borne by the traveller.
  • There could be some complementary activities covered from our side at certain destinations. If any activity is not opted by traveller then the same is not entitled to a cash refund.
