The grandest kingdom in history is Vijaynagara, or you may call it HAMPI.
Hampi is a World Heritage Site and is truly a marvel of India.
Hardly any person would not know about Hampi. This place has been mentioned vastly in the Ramayana. This is the place where it is believed that Hanumana first met Rama. This is the place believed to be the abode of Vali and Sugreeva. Likewise, there are many fascinating tales associated with Hampi. In the 14th century, Hampi was made the capital of the Vijaynagara Kingdom. This is the time; this place witnessed a golden era in the history of India. In Krishnadevraya’s reign, Hampi was the richest, most powerful, and most prosperous capital. Vijayanagara's fall was the most tragic incident in the history of India. One of the darkest eras known to mankind. Even today, the ruins of the glorious Vijayanagara stand as a testimony of that Golden Era.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Board the midnight train to Hospet and reach Hospet by noon. Upon arrival, drive to the hotel
Check-in to the hotel and relax
Post lunch, after some relaxation, we will visit Anjanadri Temple in the evening and enjoy the Sunset and a beautiful panoramic view of Hampi.

Get ready by morning with fresh air. Today we explore some pre-historic trails of mankind in and around Hampi. Let's look at the rock paintings done in the Stone Age. Let's understand a prehistoric connection of this region.
Later, we will visit the region of Anegundi and its surroundings. A place is well known as Kishkindha in the Ramayana. So, let’s walk on Ramayana trails today.

FEW POINTERS

  • Trip starts from Hospet. Guests travelling from other places, will need to reach Hospet or the hotel directly on the said date.
  • If any sightseeing mentioned is not done due to any unforeseen circumstances then an alternate sightseeing will be done.
  • There could be some complementary activities covered from our side at certain destinations. If any activity is not opted by traveller then the same is not entitled toa cash refund.
  • Air tickets issued at special rates are normally NON REFUNDABLE and traveler will need to bear the cancellation charges. If a traveler needs an air booking with the refundable option then he/she will need to bear extra fare specified by airline operator.
