Overview
This time we are going to take you to some offbeat Heritage Sites in Vidarbha, Maharashtra viz. Mansar and Ramtek. Both the places establish their connection with the Vakataka Dynasty in the 5th Century AD. Mighty Vakatakas ruled over Maharashtra and the southern region of Malwa and Gujrat. After Satvahanas, Vakatakas were the most important and prominent rulers in the Deccan region. Vakatakas are noted for having been patrons of art, architecture, and literature. The world-famous Ajanta Caves were carved under the patronage of Vakataka King, Harishena.
Along with the age of Vakatakas, we would be taking a stroll in the Megalithic Age. It’s an era where humans were evolving in different phases. Structures (mostly burials) with big boulders were erected by these people, hence the name was given as Megaliths. These megalithic findings are important links to understand the evolution of humans.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Reach Nagpur by early Morning. Check into the hotel and freshen up.
Leave for Ramtek & Mansar expedition after breakfast. Spend the day exploring the age of Vakataka’s. Enroute visit Nagardhan. Head back to Nagpur by evening and have a comfortable stay.
After breakfast, leave for the next attraction - Markanda.
Visit Markanda temple and witness the exquisite carving just like Khajuraho.
By evening, reach Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve. Check in to the resort and relax at Tadoba
With the first ray of sunlight, get ready to run on the tiger trails. Board the jeeps and enter the jungle and experience some exotic animals and birds along with the king of the jungle, the tiger.
After a jungle safari of 4 hours, return to the resort and fresh n up yourself.
Have lunch and get ready for the next ride to explore some more wildlife.
Return to the resort in the evening. Stay at Tadoba.
Get ready for another adventurous safari of Tadoba. Have a good lunch post the jungle safari.
Pack your bags and bid adieu to this magnificent wilderness.
Start return journey towards Nagpur and board the flight/train to arrive home with memories to cherish.
